Editorial Policy

How we source, evaluate, write, and maintain the content published on BlueFiveLabs.

Our Editorial Mission

BlueFiveLabs exists to provide accurate, sourced, and honest information about peptide dosage protocols and research. The peptide information landscape is dominated by unsourced blog posts, vendor marketing copy, and forum anecdotes presented as fact. Our editorial mission is to be a reliable alternative: every claim we publish traces back to a primary source, and we are transparent about the strength and limitations of the evidence behind each one.

We write for researchers who want to understand the evidence, not just receive a number. Where the data is strong, we say so. Where it is limited to animal models or early-phase trials, we say that too.

Sourcing Standards

Accepted sources

  • Peer-reviewed journal articles (PubMed, PubMed Central)
  • FDA prescribing information and drug labels
  • Clinical trial registries (ClinicalTrials.gov, EU CTR)
  • EMA product information and scientific opinions
  • Pharmacopeial standards (USP, BP)

Not accepted as evidence

  • Forum posts and community anecdotes
  • Vendor or supplier product pages
  • Social media testimonials
  • Blogs without primary source citations
  • Unpublished claims or personal communications

Evidence Grading

Not all published evidence carries the same weight. We use plain-language grading in our content to communicate how strong the evidence base is for any given claim.

GradeEvidence TypeLanguage Used
StrongMultiple RCTs or systematic reviews in humans"Clinical trials show..." / "Evidence strongly supports..."
ModerateSingle RCT or multiple observational studies in humans"Studies suggest..." / "Clinical evidence indicates..."
LimitedPhase I/II trials, case series, or mechanistic human studies"Early trials indicate..." / "Limited clinical data suggests..."
PreclinicalAnimal studies or in vitro research only"Animal studies show..." / "Preclinical data suggests..."
TheoreticalMechanistic inference without direct study"Theorized to..." / "Proposed mechanism..."

Content Creation Process

01

Literature review

Before writing any protocol or article, we conduct a structured literature search using PubMed and relevant regulatory databases to identify all available primary sources.

02

Source evaluation

Each source is evaluated for study design, sample size, relevance, and publication quality. We note the evidence grade and any significant limitations.

03

Dosage calculation verification

All dosage tables and reconstitution math are independently verified. We show the full calculation chain so readers can check the math themselves.

04

Inline citation

Claims are cited inline with links to primary sources. We do not cite secondary sources (other websites) as evidence for factual claims.

05

Review and publication

Content is reviewed for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with our editorial standards before publication.

Update and Correction Policy

Peptide research is an active field. New clinical trial results, updated regulatory guidance, and emerging safety data can change dosing recommendations. We review published content on a rolling basis and update it when new evidence warrants a change.

When a significant correction is made to a published protocol or article, we note the correction and the date it was made at the top of the page. Minor updates (formatting, clarity, broken links) are made without a correction notice.

If you believe any content on BlueFiveLabs contains an error or is based on outdated information, please contact us. We take accuracy reports seriously and will investigate and respond promptly.

Editorial Independence

BlueFiveLabs has no financial relationship with peptide vendors, compounding pharmacies, or supplement manufacturers. We do not accept sponsored content, paid protocol placements, or affiliate arrangements with peptide suppliers. Our content decisions are made solely on the basis of evidence quality and reader value.
